Siemens as innovation leader and trend setter in MR technology takes its responsibility to continuously improve the quality in Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal (MSK) Imaging. This includes not only the development of new products and solutions e.g. dedicated coils and imaging sequences for a fast and highly resolved imaging but also the optimization of existing MR imaging parameters and protocols.

The advisory board members work with Siemens in R&D projects and during product optimization to jointly live up to these objectives. They give advice with regard to specific questions about certain products and solutions that arise as well as generally with regard to future developments. Additionally, the advisory board members proactively share their view about possible improvements in the field of Orthopaedic Diagnostics. As part of this tight cooperation between the advisory board and Siemens, it is the intention to share this continuous improvement of MSK Imaging to the clinical community worldwide.
