MR Elastography (MRE) is a non-invasive technique to estimate the stiffness of soft tissues. Given the non-invasive nature and accuracy of diagnostic results, in recent years MRE has become a standard clinical tool to stage liver fibrosis on both 1.5T and 3T scanners, with and without contrast agent. This means that MRE can be performed at any point in a standard clinical examination.

Demonstration of MRE setup and driver placement for liver imaging, using the dedicated elastic belt, plus cushioning material.
