Infantile hemangioma (IH) is a common benign vascular tumor of infancy. IHs are often diagnosed clinically and are self-limiting in nature, however lesions localized to the head and neck warrant further investigation with imaging to rule out malignant causes and to evaluate risk of complications. Time-resolved MR Angiography with stochastic interleaved trajectories (TWIST) provides a non-invasive imaging modality for evaluation of IH while allowing for dynamic visualization of the lesion with high temporal and spatial resolution.
We present a case report of a 5-month-old4 female presenting with a posterior neck mass that was later diagnosed as an infantile hemangioma.

TWIST (Time-resolved angiography With Interleaved Stochastic Trajectories) is a time-resolved 3D MRA technique with very high temporal (sub-second) and spatial resolution (sub-millimeter) which will allow to capture the multiple arterial, mixed, venous phase images during the passage of a contrast agent through the vascular anatomy.
